WIP Wednesday

Yes! The week is half over! Fortunately, this is my first week of vacation from teaching, so I get to relax and focus on some wonderful lace projects to finish off the year. I wish I had current pictures for you, but with how early it is here, and therefore how dark, no pictures would turn out :(

This week I'm working on a Winter Mystery Shawl KAL from Goddess Knits. I'm loving it so far! It is really going to be a challenge for me! Lots of charts, and only charts. Lots of beads. Lots of laceweight. Lots of challenge! I'm still working on the first clue from this weekend, so maybe an FOF post?

Today I'm going to finish up the bottom of my second February Market Bag by the Sexy Knitter. I love this bag! I have plans to make at least two more in January and February. Its easy, gorgeous, and I could seriously fit a small dog in the bag with room to spare. Love it!

Finally, I'm hoping to finish up my Traveling Woman shawl by Liz Abinante. I love this shawl! I can't wait to show you the final result! It is going to be stunning!

I have a feeling I'm going to be finishing up several projects between now and Friday. Why? Some crazy weather guy (not crazy, his weather is) came out with his report last night. 3-6 inches of snow. Yeah. Not liking this. We don't get snow here where I live, too low. But we had snow this past weekend, not much, just enough to coat the ground a bit, and now we are supposed to have more snow. I'm staying and not doing anything. Well, not doing anything but knitting!

What are you working on this week? Don't forget, Tami's Amis has a great list of other WIP Wednesday projects. Stop by, check them out, and maybe leave your post in the list!

Happy Wednesday Knitting,
Deenna

  1. Oh, I can't fully express how jealous I am of your vacation... Enjoying an afternoon knitting lovely lace projects sounds perfect.

  2. Good luck with the snow. We're starting to hear how little chance there is of a white Christmas :)
